A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) for multiple regions across the Northeast, including significant portions of Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Residents and travelers in these areas are urged to prepare for mixed winter precipitation, hazardous travel conditions, and delays during key commuting hours.
According to the advisory issued at 1:16 AM EST on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, parts of northern and southern Litchfield County (CT) and Berkshire County (MA) are expected to experience snow and ice accumulations beginning Tuesday afternoon.
The advisory remains in effect from 3 PM Tuesday to 6 AM Wednesday, with the highest risks occurring during the Tuesday evening commute.
