Fourteen people are facing federal charges in a multi-state wiretap investigation that seized more than 100 machine-gun conversion devices and drugs.
TACOMA, Wash. — Federal agents fanned out to 17 locations across Washington, Oregon and California before dawn Wednesday, arresting 14 people in what prosecutors described as a sweeping takedown of a Tacoma-based drug and gun trafficking network.
At the center of the indictment is Kevin Salgado, 27, of Puyallup, who authorities say led a criminal enterprise affiliated with the Black Gangster Disciples street gang.
