The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for a large portion of North Carolina, warning of hazardous travel conditions due to a combination of snow and freezing rain expected from Wednesday evening into Thursday morning.
The advisory, which was posted in the early hours of Wednesday, February 4, 2026, affects both central and eastern counties across the state.
