SEA Airport unveils major terminal facelift after years of construction

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport has completed a $546 million renovation of its main terminal. Here’s a look inside:

SEATAC, Wash. — After years of construction and orange barricades greeting travelers at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, the wait is finally over. 

The north end of SEA’s main terminal now sports a sleek, modern look — the product of a multiyear, half-billion-dollar transformation.

The two-year renovation, a joint effort between the Port of Seattle and Alaska Airlines, reimagines one of the airport’s busiest areas into a more efficient and welcoming space complete with bright lighting, upgraded technology, and expanded check-in options.
