An empty lot in West Seattle could become a hub for tiny homes, RVs

City records reveal early plans for an emergency transitional housing site — but officials say it’s still in the preliminary stages.

SEATTLE — Right now, the property at 7201 Second Avenue Southwest is quiet.

It’s an industrial lot, fenced off and marked with red warning signs reading “Do Not Enter” and “No Trespassing.” There are no homes, no vehicles, no sign of activity. But city records show the vacant space could soon play a very different role in West Seattle.
