The world of professional golf just felt another boom.
Masters Champion Patrick Reed announced on Wednesday morning that, like Brooks Koepka, he is no longer competing on LIV Golf. Reed noted that he is returning to the PGA Tour as a “past champion member” for the 2027 season (so next year) and that he is eligible to compete in Tour events later this year.
Reed noted within his social post that he will continue to play on the DP World Tour as a result of his Honorary Lifetime Member eligibility, and he specifically noted the tradition of the PGA Tour as why he is excited about returning.
