The 2026 Writers Guild Awards nominations have been announced.
“Sinners,” the supernatural horror film from filmmaker Ryan Coogler, is among the original screenplay nominees. Also in that category is the Timothée Chalamet-led ping-pong drama “Marty Supreme,” written by director Josh Safdie and Ronald Bronstein. Other films vying for the original screenplay prize include “Black Bag,” written by David Koepp; “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You,” written by Mary Bronstein; and “Weapons,” written by Zach Cregger.
