PARKLAND, Wash. — A man and his dog were stabbed early Sunday morning in a convenience store parking lot in Parkland, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department. The suspect was later killed in an officer-involved shooting.
Officers received a 911 call shortly before 6:30 a.m. from Eddie Nitschke, who reported he had been stabbed by an unknown assailant in the parking lot, where he and his girlfriend and two dogs live in their car.
