Ohio remains under the influence of a significant and prolonged winter storm, with Winter Storm Warnings in effect across much of the state through Monday morning and early afternoon, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Forecasters warn that additional heavy snowfall, dangerously cold wind chills, and lingering lake-enhanced snow will continue to impact travel and daily operations statewide.
Snowfall expectations vary by region, but much of Ohio is forecast to receive between 5 and 15 inches of additional snow, with localized higher totals in central, southwest, and northeast portions of the state.
