Washington State Patrol said no one has been arrested. The scene is under investigation.
ROY, Wash. — A driver hit and killed a cyclist in Roy on Thursday night, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).
The collision occurred on state Route 702 west of state Route 507. WSP Trooper Kameron Watts said the cyclist was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of SR 702 when they were hit by a vehicle.
The cyclist died at the scene despite life-saving efforts, Watts said. Officials did not release further details about the victim.
