All lanes of southbound Interstate 5 in Ferndale were blocked on Tuesday following the deadly crash.
FERNDALE, Wash. — A 22-year-old woman was killed when a driver crossed the median of Interstate 5 in Ferndale on Tuesday and crashed into two other vehicles.
A 27-year-old driver in a Chevy Silverado was driving northbound on I-5 just before 4 p.m. when he crossed the median into the southbound lanes, according to Washington State Patrol (WSP).
The Silverado struck a white Tesla, which landed on the shoulder of I-5. A Hyundai Tucson then hit the Silverado.
