Suspect in 1994 Renton cold case murder sentenced to life in prison

A jury previously found Jerome Frank Jones guilty of first-degree aggravated murder.

RENTON, Wash. — The man found guilty of murdering a woman and her 3-year-old in 1994 in King County was sentenced to life in prison Friday. 

Jerome Frank Jones was previously found guilty by a jury for two counts of aggravated first-degree murder for the deaths of Stacy Falcon-Dewey and her son Jacob. His sentence does not include the possibility of parole or release.

State attorney Mary Barbosa said it’s “difficult to imagine a case more deserving of the tile of aggravated murder.”
