OLYMPIA, Wash. — A Wenatchee family has filed a lawsuit against the state of Washington, alleging recklessness and negligence led to their son’s death by suicide at Eastern State Hospital in May 2023.
Alex Taylor, 27, died after accessing a glass bottle from a room that should have been locked and repeatedly cutting himself, the family said.
