KELOWNA, BC — A lifelong Seattle Seahawks fan north of the border is turning heads with a display built entirely from soda boxes inside the grocery store where he works.
Eric Valkenberg, an employee of Save-On-Foods in Kelowna, constructed a massive Seahawks-themed installation using roughly 1,500 boxes. The towering tribute to the 12s has drawn crowds of curious shoppers, plenty of photos and, of course, Seahawks fans.
Valkenberg has worked at Save-On-Foods for 28 years and is known locally for his elaborate, large-scale creations.
