Urgent Flash Flood Warning Issued for 4 Counties in Mississippi

Following the Tornado warning issued early morning, the National Weather Service (NWS) in Jackson, Mississippi, has issued an urgent flash flood warning for Jefferson Davis, Lawrence, Covington, and northwestern Lamar counties, as well as northern Marion County.

The alert, first issued shortly before 12:40 PM CST Friday, is scheduled to remain in effect until at least 3:30 PM CST this afternoon.
