A new push for sustainable aviation fuel launches weeks after the state revised its climate impact data.
EVERETT, Wash. — Just weeks after Washington officials acknowledged they overstated the climate benefits of past projects, the state is making a bold new promise about the future of flight.
The announcement came Thursday inside Boeing’s Future of Flight Museum, where state and aviation leaders unveiled what they are calling a multi-million-dollar push to turn Washington into a sustainable jet fuel powerhouse.
“We have all the pieces in place to ensure this once in a generation economic opportunity is realized and this accelerator will make that happen,”
