Nebraska Braces for Hazardous Road Conditions Amid Winter Storm

Nebraska residents are being urged to prepare for potentially hazardous winter conditions as a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for several parts of the state.

The National Weather Service (NWS), in a bulletin released early Friday morning, warns that snowfall, mixed precipitation, and strong winds could make travel dangerous, particularly in rural and open areas.

According to the official alert from the NWS Sioux Falls office, the advisory will remain in effect from 6 AM Friday until 9 PM on Friday CST, with accumulations of snow between 1 to 4 inches expected across central and eastern Nebraska, particularly along and south of Interstate 80.
