The driver of the SUV, a 55-year-old woman, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
KENT, Wash. — Kent police are investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian Friday evening.
Officers responded just before 5 p.m. to a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian at the intersection of 108th Avenue SE and SE 224th Street. When officers arrived, they found an adult woman unconscious and not breathing.
Officers began CPR and were assisted by Puget Sound Fire personnel. The woman was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, where she later died from her injuries.
