Indiana Dense Fog Advisory Issued for Central Counties

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for a wide swath of central Indiana from 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, through 11:00 a.m. EST Thursday, Dec. 25, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Indianapolis.

Forecasters warn that visibility may drop to one-quarter mile or less, increasing the risk of hazardous driving conditions overnight and during the Thursday morning commute.

The advisory covers portions of central, east central, north central, and west central Indiana, including counties such as Carroll, Warren, Tippecanoe, Clinton, Howard, Fountain, Montgomery, Boone, Tipton, Hamilton, Madison, Delaware, Randolph, Vermillion, Parke, Putnam, Hendricks, Marion, Hancock, and Henry.
