Trooper hurt in crash on Snoqualmie Pass

SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. — A Washington State Patrol trooper is recovering after a crash on Snoqualmie Pass.

The trooper’s car was hit by a semi truck while at the scene of a separate collision, according to Trooper Rick Johnson, a public information officer for WSP.

The crash happened Friday night on eastbound I-90 near the summit during snowy conditions.

Johnson said the trooper was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
