Motorcyclist critically injured in Renton ‘road rage’ crash; suspect arrested

The suspect was arrested at the scene, and is facing several charges including vehicular assault, reckless driving and endangerment.

RENTON, Wash. — A motorcyclist is in serious condition after he was thrown from his bike in what’s being described by police as a “road rage” incident.

Dustin Umemoto, 42, was riding his 2008 Ducati along Petrovitsky Road in Renton around 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13.

According to court documents, witnesses told police the driver a Jeep pickup truck honked at Umemoto, who gave the driver the middle finger and rode off.
