SEATTLE — King County Metro and Amalgamated Transit Union Local 587 will hold a memorial honor ride Wednesday evening to remember transit operator Shawn Yim, who was fatally stabbed last December in the University District.
The memorial comes one day before the one-year anniversary of Yim’s death. Metro and the union will lay a wreath near the site where Yim was killed following an altercation while he was on duty.
