Live updates: Landslide closes Highway 101 near Hoodsport

Heavy rains have led to continued flooding, landslides and road closures across western Washington this week.

Rivers that flooded during last week’s storms are again at risk of overflowing with more rain coming down. On Monday, a levee of the Green River broke near Tukwila and was under control hours later. Early Tuesday morning, a levee along the White River broke, leading to urgent evacuation notices for over 2,000 residents. 

Debris flows and landslides are also a growing concern for some communities.
