It turns out that 2025 was the year of Scottie Scheffler. Again.
The PGA Tour announced on Monday that Scheffler was the winner of the Jack Nicklaus Award as the PGA Tour Player of the Year for 2025. He had 6 total victories in 2025, 2 of them major titles in the PGA Championship and Open Championship. Simply put, he was spectacular.
Scheffler officially joins Tiger Woods as the only other player to win this award for our more consecutive times (1999-2003). It is always difficult to wonder how he can continue to outdo himself, yet here we are.
