Department of Homeland Security officers sicced dog on Vancouver man, witnesses say

Wilmer Toledo-Martinez was hospitalized with gashes on his body after his attorney and witnesses say he was attacked by a DHS dog before being detained.

VANCOUVER, Wash. — A Vancouver man who witnesses say was attacked by a Department of Homeland Security dog before being detained is grabbing the attention of a U.S. senator.

Video captured last month shows Wilmer Toledo-Martinez on the ground, a dog being held back by DHS agents. 

Before the video started, his attorney said Toledo-Martinez was attacked by the dog.
