SEATTLE — Seattle is just months away from hosting some of the biggest matches in global sports, and Friday’s World Cup draw will determine exactly who’s coming to town and when.

FIFA will sort the 48 qualifying teams into 12 groups during a ceremony at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., setting the matchups for a World Cup that will be played across three countries: the United States, Canada and Mexico.
