FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — The long-awaited Federal Way Link Light Rail extension opens Saturday, Dec. 6, bringing the state’s largest transit system that much closer to connecting Seattle and Tacoma.
The extension brings the 1 Line eight miles further south from Angle Lake in Tukwila, connecting residents in south King County and north Pierce County more closely to popular locations already accessible by transit.
