F1 Drivers’ Championship standings after Oscar Piastri wins Qatar Sprint

Oscar Piastri took the victory — and the eight points — in the F1 Sprint race at the Qatar Grand Prix.

But with his third-place finish, Lando Norris can still clinch his first Drivers’ Championship tomorrow in the Qatar Grand Prix.

Piastri took the win ahead of George Russell and Norris, while fellow Drivers’ Championship contender Max Verstappen picked up two places on the track to finish fourth after starting sixth. Here is how the three title contenders now sit in the standings following those results:

Norris: 396 points
Piastri: 374 points
Verstappen: 371 points
