A bulletin published by the U.S. Mission to Mexico on November 26, 2025, confirmed that armed criminal groups have forced vehicles off the road and carried out robberies under deceptive circumstances. Victims described being intercepted by a vehicle equipped with flashing lights that mimicked an authorized traffic stop.
