There were several meal giveaways on Thanksgiving in Tacoma. Dozens of organizations and volunteers worked to make sure people in the community were fed.
TACOMA, Wash. — Several people in Tacoma spent Thanksgiving serving warm meals to people in need in the community. There were multiple meal giveaway events happening throughout the city.
The owner of Tibbitts at Fern Hill, a local restaurant, held his 10th annual Thanksgiving meal giveaway at the First United Methodist Church in Tacoma.
They were giving out meals to people on the street outside the church and were also delivering meals to people throughout the community.
