BELLINGHAM, Wash. — It appears a mystery has been solved 90 years after a dad’s disappearance. 

Charles Kingsford-Smith is a legendary aviator credited with being the first person to fly across the Pacific Ocean. His plane went down somewhere in Southeast Asia in 1935 while attempting to break the England to Australia speed record. Where and why remained a mystery for nearly a century. 

Now, likely answers come for a son who has been waiting his whole life for them.
