A beloved Seattle tradition has hit a snag, but will be back early December.
SEATTLE — A Seattle holiday tradition is set to return in 2025, but has been just slightly delayed due to a technical issue.
The KING 5 tower lights did not go up in 2024 due to a tower repainting project but are set to return.
Traditionally, they are turned on the day after Thanksgiving. However, this year, they won’t be on until early December. Some of the lights weren’t working and must be replaced by a tower climber.
