In a conversation with Variety TV reporter Selome Hailu, Grace Van Patten opened up about meeting and portraying the titular character in Hulu’s drama miniseries, “The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox.”
“I was so young when this happened to Amanda,” Van Patten said.” “I approached it objectively and without preconceived beliefs and ideas. I wanted to honor her essence and how she made other people feel because that’s a huge part of this story. Her personality was used against her, so it was important to show her quirkiness. I knew how she made me feel, and I wanted to emulate that.”
