SEATTLE — More than three decades after 14-year-old Tanya Frazier disappeared from Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, authorities have arrested a five-time convicted felon in connection with her killing, using advances in DNA technology to crack the case.
Mark Russ appeared before a judge Tuesday morning in King County Superior Court, where he pleaded not guilty to murder charges. Frazier’s mother and sister attended the hearing, marking the first time they saw the accused killer face to face.
