SR 167 bridge repairs to bring long delays to Pacific

The closure stems from a September crash, when a commercial truck carrying an oversized load struck the Third Avenue Southwest bridge.

PACIFIC, Wash. — Drivers who rely on northbound state Route 167 near Pacific should brace for major slowdowns. Starting the night of Nov. 19, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will close all northbound lanes between Stewart Road and Ellingson Road, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., to prepare for bridge repairs.
