David Zucker, who directed the first two “Naked Gun” films, recently told “Woman’s World” he was not impressed by the reboot led by Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson. He said the film “totally missed” the now-classic spoof style of comedy pioneered by Zucker, his brother Jerry and Jim Abrahams.
“My brother, Jerry, and our partner, Jim Abrahams, started doing spoof comedies 50 years ago, and we originated our own style — and we did that so well that it looks easy, evidently,” Zucker explained. “People started copying it, like Seth MacFarlane for the new ‘Naked Gun.’ He
