LEWIS COUNTY, Wash. — A woman was arrested Thursday after her young infant died of a meth overdose in October, Lewis County officials say.
In a release, the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) says detectives began investigating after a three-and-a-half-month-old infant was taken to the hospital from a residence in Mineral.
An investigation and autopsy revealed that the infant had methamphetamine in her system when she died.
Detectives returned to the home on Pleasant Valley Road on Thursday with a search warrant.
