The RISE Center in Tacoma is working to increase community access to food

So far this year, the Brotherhood RISE Center in the Hilltop neighborhood has provided more than 10,000 meals to community members.

TACOMA, Wash. — In Tacoma’s Hilltop neighborhood, a community center is helping feed thousands, offering up food and hope to people in need of assistance.

The Brotherhood RISE Center, a nonprofit that provides food and many other social services, makes it a goal to ensure services for essential needs, like food, are easy to access.
