The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating after a security guard allegedly shot a 27-year-old man outside a Pioneer Square nightclub early Saturday morning.
Officers were near the nightclub in the 100 block of South Washington Street around 1:45 a.m. when they heard gunshots. Witnesses reported the club’s security guard had fired his weapon.

Officers detained the 25-year-old security guard after he dropped his firearm and removed his ballistic vest.
