The Dallas Cowboys have one of the league’s best offenses. Entering Week 9, the Cowboys are second in the NFL in scoring, averaging 30.8 points per game. They are averaging 2.79 points per drive, fourth-best in the NFL. Quarterback Dak Prescott is performing at a high level as well, leading the league in QBR.
But thanks to one of the league’s worst defenses, the Cowboys are 3-4-1 and looking up at the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East.
So as far as head coach Brian Schottenheimer is concerned, you can take those gaudy offensive numbers and, well, do something with them.
