Firefighters use tools, YouTube clip to help rescue cat

A Lacey man said a stray cat was trapped in the walls of his home for two days.

LACEY, Wash. — Lacey Fire District Three firefighters helped rescue a neighborhood stray cat trapped inside the walls of a home using an combination of medical equipment, rescue tools and a YouTube video.

A Lacey man called 911 Oct. 22 after the cat, named Timmy, became stuck in his wall.

Fire investigators later discovered the feline had entered the home’s air ducts through the crawl space.
