Sarah Schweitzman has been named co-head of CAA Media Finance.
The sales agent will run the department alongside veteran Roeg Sutherland, overseeing the packaging and representation of independently financed film, television and digital content.
Schweitzman began her career as an assistant at CAA before leaving to work for filmmaker Alex Kurtzman’s production company, Secret Hideout. She later landed executive positions at 21st Century Fox and Vendôme Pictures, where she worked on several films including “Source Code,” “Kingsman: The Secret Service,” “Spy,” “The Greatest Showman” and more.
