NFL owners are currently gathered in New York for two days of league meetings, with some important items on the docket.
But New York Jets owner Woody Johnson has some other things on his mind.
The Jets are off to a winless start, after dropping to 0-7 in a dreadful 13-6 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Starting quarterback Justin Fields was benched in that game in favor of Tyrod Taylor after starting 6-of-12 for just 46 yards.
On the season, Fields has completed 63.7% of his passes for 845 yards and just four touchdowns, and while he has yet to throw an interception, the Jets’ passing game is not exactly a thing
