Mariah Carey is set to be honored as MusiCares 2026 Person of the Year, and will be celebrated at the annual gala taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Jan. 30, 2026, just two days before the Grammy Awards.
Carey, who recently released her 16th studio album “Here For It All,” was chosen for her decades of contributions to music, as well as her philanthropic endeavors including providing relief to those affected by Hurricane Katrina and the Covid pandemic.
