A Mariners’ parking crunch lead to an expensive mistake.
LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Dozens of drivers are paying hundreds of dollars to get their cars back after parking near the new Lynnwood City Center light rail station for Wednesday’s Mariners game.
With the 1,900-space park-and-ride garage full, many fans tried their luck across the street — in what appeared to be an open lot. But county records show the property is private, and a tow company says it removed 45 vehicles overnight.
