Victim in deadly Parkland crash remembered as an ambitious young woman

Paola Parbol, 20, was driving to class at Pacific Lutheran University when a driver trying to elude deputies crashed into her car.

PARKLAND, Wash. — The family of a young woman who was killed in a crash in Parkland on Wednesday is remembering her as an ambitious and hard-working young woman.

“He shouldn’t be out; he shouldn’t be free. He took the life of a woman I love very much,” said Gabriel Pangelinan, the boyfriend of Paola Parbol Arredondo, to a judge on Thursday.
