First Frost Advisory of the season issued in western Washington

Temperatures could drop into the low 30s along the Cascade foothills and portions of the Puget Sound region.

SEATTLE — The first Frost Advisory of the season for western Washington goes into effect early Tuesday morning.

The advisory issued by the National Weather Service is in effect from midnight to 9 a.m. for the Vancouver metro area, Cowlitz County and south Cascade foothills of Washington. It’s in effect from 2-8 a.m. for south Kitsap County and the South Sound area, the majority of the Cascade foothills and western Snohomish and Skagit counties.
