Pierce County deputies responded to a domestic violence call and allegedly shot an armed suspect, who is now hospitalized and in custody.
PUYALLUP, Wash. — The Pierce County Force Investigation Team is investigating after a sheriff’s deputy allegedly shot a domestic violence suspect Sunday afternoon.
Shortly after 12 p.m., Pierce County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) deputies responded to the 12600 block of 106th Avenue Court East in South Hill for reports of a domestic violence incident involving a weapon.
Shortly after deputies arrived, a woman and two children escaped through a window in the home as her boyfriend fired shots from the home.
