SEATTLE — Anxiety over household finances dominated a recent poll of Seattle-area voters, with most respondents saying they fear a national recession could be near.

Eighty percent of Seattle households are worried that federal economic policies could push the country into a recession, according to a September survey of 700 voters across all seven City Council districts.
