Police say the two girls were found safe Sunday afternoon.
BREMERTON, Wash. — Two young girls reported missing in Bremerton have been found safe, police confirmed Sunday.
Earlier, Bremerton police had asked for the public’s help locating the girls who had been missing since Saturday afternoon. Investigators had said they believed the children did not leave on their own.
The girls were last seen around 3 p.m. on Oct. 4 near Pine Road and Sylvan Way in Bremerton, according to police. At the time, authorities said they had reason to believe the girls may not have been able to return home safely without assistance.
